Mayur sold toys as a door-to-door salesman (an American Star salesman taught him the tricks), learnt to convince thousands of respondents to fill out survey forms while he worked as a field executive for a research firm, sold ad space for one of the country’s biggest classifieds magazines, pitched stories to journalists, ran an Italian and Mexican fast-food chain, and sold construction material to builders and road contractors.
But that’s all talk. Mayur also learned to show. A certified filmmaker from the London Film Academy, he has worked as an AD at a film production house and directed a news-based TV show for a Canadian channel. He then went on to assist on a feature film and an international short film. Currently, one of his short films ‘Gold Save Us’, is making the rounds at film festival circuits.
Mayur is a keen observer and has an uncanny knack of understanding diverse target audiences and identifying what drives their behaviour. His ability to translate these simple insights into ideas, copy and even design makes him the go-to person for clients and creative professionals alike.
At Tenet, Mayur works with brands to help them create distinct imagery, identity, and personality. He guides team members as they execute advertising campaigns, build social media content for new-age brands, and manage internal communication mandates for several reputed companies.
